Em um ano de poucos lançamentos, tivemos dificuldade extrema em selecionar um vencedor para essa temporada, considerando que os melhores animes do ano foram lançados apenas no final do ano e terão continuação em 2021. Por definição, apenas animes finalizados em 2020 podem ser selecionados para o programa, o que deixa de fora grandes lançamentos como Dragon Quest, Jujutsu Kaisen e Attack on Titan.
